A damn warm night in February! The cowboy hats and boots are back: Wild Rooster Festival Winter Edition is back! The free roots music festival on the Grote Markt with only good rockabilly, Americana, bluegrass, uptempo blues and rock'n'roll can be visited again this winter on Saturday February 23rd.

YEEEEHAAA! The annual, free country/rockabilly festival in the heart of the city is back with a winter edition, of course with a delicious barbecue menu. On 3 stages (indoors) around the Grote Markt it will be nice and sweaty honky-tonking again with a dazzling line up.

As soon as it gets dark, the fire pits are lit and during the Wild Rooster Festival it becomes one big 'burning fire ring' with generous portions of BBQ food.

About Wild Rooster Festival

The Wild Rooster Festival is a free city festival in The Hague with only good rockabilly, bluegrass, uptempo blues and rock'n'roll from the time when rock'n'roll was still rock'n'roll. The festival has been around for over 10 years and has become a permanent venue for fans of everything that has to do with country, rockabilly and Americana. In addition to the successful summer editions, the winter edition has also grown into a real 'fear of missing out' edition where it is difficult not to get involved in the honky-tonk atmosphere.

3 locations

Poppodium De Zwarte Ruiter, Café September and Hoender en Hop all have a stage on which bands will perform. The line-up consists of respected names from the roots music scene.
