Boston Trader X Paul & Shark
For two seasons now Boston Trader sells the iconic brand Paul & Shark. Last week the second Nick Wooster X Paul & Shark capsule collection hit the stores – this collection tells the brand’s story through the eyes of the eclectic American designer.
Born from a desire to raise the brand’s influence among fashion-conscious customers, Wooster re-imagined Paul & Shark’s iconic products, made them his own and branded them with an X. A case in point is the house’s trademark blue wool sweater, adorned with buttons on the shoulder, resized and made from nylon with fluorescent details.
Colour, prints, patchwork and the unconventional use of materials are the key elements of the Nick Wooster X Paul & Shark collection. The fluorescent knitwear is made from ultra-light cashmere, while the parkas, shirts and shorts feature patchwork details inspired by striped shirts and bonded with contrasting materials, including nylon. The jackets and shirts have been embellished with exclusive contrasting colour blocks while the roomy coats are often reversible.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Nick Wooster once again,” says Catherine Bonelli, Paul & Shark’s Global Travel Retail Director. “Nick cleverly combines style and sophistication in all his designs, and his pieces really bring something unique to Paul & Shark’s overall collection.”
With brands in store like Jacob Cohen, Lardini, Stone Island & C.P. Company, Paul & Shark would not fit better in the line up then at Boston Trader. You can check the collections in the 2 Boston Trader stores, both located at the Plaats, right across the hofvijver.
