Herfstfeest: Drum Festival

Autumn Fest will have its 6th edition this year. The largest drum festival in the Benelux will take place in a reduced form in this special edition.
On Sunday 11 October the festival drummers come from all over the Benelux to PAARD.

This year you can see:

Mario Goossens

Cesar Zuiderwijk

Emmanuel Afriyie

Mira Burgers

Ilse Hofma

Koen Autumn.

A limited number of tickets are available for the festival. All visitors sit at a safe distance from each other on fixed chairs. For more information about PAARD and the Covid-19 measures, visit www.paard.nl/event/corona/.

The festival is opened by young talent and after the success of ‘Autumn Fest KIDS’ last year, part of it will certainly return. In addition, the Slagwerkkrant Poll Awards are also presented on the stage of the Grote Zaal van het PAARD.

Mira Burgers was already in the spotlight in the video contest and was able to amaze everyone last year with her very adult clinic. She now plays at The Cool Quest and has several endorsement deals thanks to Autumnfest!

Emmanuel Afriyie , also known as ‘ELS’ is an extremely passionate and talented young drummer. He won the Autumn Fest video contest two years ago and is now without a doubt one of the most popular young drummers of the moment. He plays with Frenna , among others .

Ilse Hofma is the driving force behind Wulf , with whom she destroyed all festivals last summer.

Koen Autumn plays with Vandenberg and Armin van Buuren , among others, and was recently voted ‘Best Hard Rock / Metal Drummer’ in the Benelux by readers of the Slagwerkkrant for the seventh time in a row.

Cesar Zuiderwijk of Golden Earring by Mario Goossens of Triggerfinger have set up the new band SLOPER together . A band with 2 drummers! They will show you how that works and how it sounds at Autumn Fest.

Corona-proof experience

PAARD wants to offer visitors a Corona-proof experience. For this we follow the protocol of the Association of Dutch Poppodia and Festivals and there are adjusted  house rules. This means that upon arrival, a number of questions are asked about health, so that visitors and staff are not at risk. A safe 1.5 meter routing has also been set up for the public. There are various disinfection stations distributed throughout the building for visitors and staff. In the 1.5 meter seated seating arrangement, solo and duo seating has been taken into account. A few days before the show, visitors will receive the most up-to-date information about the visit to PAARD. The visitor also plays an important role in ensuring that an evening is Corona-proof. This Í means that no dancing, shouting, whistling or singing is allowed. However, you can have a drink, enjoy sitting down, clap your hands or nod along to the music. It is slightly different than you are used to at PAARD.
