NN Marathon Rotterdam (date postponed)

The NN Marathon Rotterdam, like similar events in London, Boston and Paris, has been postponed. The 40th edition of #demooiste, initially planned for Saturday April 4 and Sunday April 5, 2020, is now on the calendar for Saturday October 24 and Sunday October 25, 2020.

The 17,000 starting tickets for the sold-out edition of the NN Marathon Rotterdam remain valid. This also applies to the AA Drink ¼ Marathon Rotterdam (also on Sunday), the City Run Rotterdam, the NN Kids Runs and the Your Marathon Challenge (on Saturday).

The organization previously postponed the marathon weekend early because of COVID-19 (coronavirus). The new date has been chosen in consultation with the Municipality of Rotterdam, sponsors, suppliers and other stakeholders, in the hope that the virus will then be under control.

“Obviously, the health of our participants, volunteers, spectators and other stakeholders is our number one priority,” said organizer Mario Kadiks. “As an organization, we are grateful for the many demonstrations of deep commitment we have felt following the inevitable postponement of our marathon and everyone’s flexibility in finding a new date.”

All already registered participants will soon receive personal information about the relocation of the NN Marathon Rotterdam.
