Lange Voorhout: Home Made Easter Market

During the Home Made Easter Market on the Lange Voorhout in The Hague, dozens of exhibitors present a wide range of products. For four days you can stroll along stalls with clothing, jewellery, antiques, books and articles from mother's and grandmother's time at this market.

The market is every day from 10am to 5pm, but the food trucks and music continue until 9pm.

Home Made Market

The center of The Hague is a hub for creativity and entrepreneurship and the Home Made Market is here to prove it! What started as an annual organic market has grown into a lifestyle event that the whole of The Hague and the surrounding area can enjoy. Expect a range of fashion, art, interior, jewelry and accessories and lots of vinyl and vintage products. There is also entertainment in the form of workshops, live music, circus and theater. For the little ones there is a range of activities including games, poffertjes, crafts and a unique 100-year-old whirligig!

Lange Voorhout

The Lange Voorhout in The Hague is perhaps the most beautiful avenue in the Netherlands. Time sometimes seems to stand still on the beautiful Lange Voorhout where you can stroll to peace and quiet. In spring the Lange Voorhout is enchanted by thousands of blooming crocuses and in the autumn the trees give the avenue a golden glow. Festivals, events and exhibitions are regularly held on the central aisle, such as The Hague Sculpture. The stately buildings house various cultural institutions, including Theater Diligentia, Pulchri and the Escher Museum.

The Home Made Easter Market takes place on the Lange Voorhout in the city center of The Hague. If you come by car from Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Utrecht, it is best to park in the Interparking Museumkwartier car park on Korte Voorhout. You can also park under the Malieveld or in the CS-New Babylon or Muzenplein parking garage. From here it is a five to ten minute walk to Lange Voorhout. The market can be reached by HTM tram with lines 1 and 17 (stop Kneuterdijk), Line 9 (stop Malieveld). Bus lines 22 and 24.
