Sailing trips from Scheveningen
On 3 July 2022, the historic three-masted topsail schooner OOSTERSCHELDE will sail two day trips from the port of Scheveningen.
Port of departure and arrival: from Adriaan Maaskade, in Scheveningen.
Lunch under Sail
'Lunch under Sail' starts at 11:00 am and lasts until 4:00 pm
Price children up to 12 years €50,00
Price from 12 years €85.00
Included: coffee and tea with cake upon arrival and lunch.
'Sunset Cruise' starts at 20:00 and lasts until 24:00
Price children up to 12 years €40.00
Price from 12 years €65.00
Included: welcome drink and various snacks during the evening.
Day program Lunch under Sail
You can sail into the North Sea from the port of Scheveningen! As soon as everyone is on board, the ropes are released and the first sails are hoisted within the Scheveningen piers. Everyone is cordially invited to help and take the helm. You can also enjoy the view of the Scheveningen beaches and the sun quietly on deck! Once on the high seas, the rest of our impressive sailing wardrobe is hoisted.
Evening program Sunset Cruise
What could be better than watching the sun go down from the deck of a historic ship? Step aboard the OOSTERSCHELDE for a Sunset Cruise, in which you will sail under a clear starry sky. As soon as everyone is on board, the ropes are released and we hoist the sails inside the Scheveningen piers. Everyone is cordially invited to help out and take the helm. Once on the high seas, the rest of our impressive rigging is hoisted, so that you can enjoy the various snacks and drinks that are served. You will dock in the harbor of Scheveningen around midnight.
About the 'Oosterschelde'
The OOSTERSCHELDE is the last remaining three-masted topsail schooner of a large Dutch fleet and the largest restored sailing ship in the Netherlands. After decades of cargo sailing, the OOSTERSCHELDE has been sailing with guests over all the world's seas for 25 years now. With her third world trip (2023-2025) in prospect, she is now coming to Scheveningen!
