The Fashionweek 2022
The Fashion Week takes place in the fall. The annual event with catwalk shows, fashion exhibitions, workshops and talented fashion designers from The Hague and the region who will introduce you to their beautiful designs.
The Fashionweek 2022
The Fashionweek (formerly The Hague Fashion Week) will take place from 26th September until the 2nd of October. With fashion shows, exhibitions, design competition, workshops and a fashion route, we show that The Hague is truly a fashion city.
The Fashionweek is a unique fashion festival where couture and uniquely designed garments come together. Non-commercial designers, fashion students and fashion brands with a clear vision and their own signature are offered a platform and show their work on the catwalk and exhibitions. This usually concerns unique designs, so-called couture. The designs are conceptual, well thought-out, not following trend but trend-setting, made with attention to craft, handicraft and sustainability. These inclusive and sustainable designers bring the future of fashion together during The Fashionweek The Hague.
Historic fashion route
Part of The Fashionweek's program is a historic fashion route through the city center of The Hague. In various historic buildings, designers display their creations in the shop windows. The work of the fashion talents can be seen at Bijenkorf, Uniqlo, H&M, Jeweler Steltman, Beeld&Sound and The Student Hotel, among others.
The program is still under development and will be announced soon.
Ticket sales for The Fashionweek will start soon.
the fashion party in The Hague
The aim of the annual fashion festival The Fashion Week is to put the region of The Hague on the map as a fashion city. There is a lot of talent but there is little space for the stage that fashion and textile designers, fashion photographers etc. desperately need to develop. Collaboration between the various disciplines is the starting point for The Fashionweek. Established and new names in the fashion world get the chance to show themselves and their creations. There must be room for every form of fashion, but creativity and love for the profession, creativity, diversity and craftsmanship are paramount.
