The Varend Corso Westland (Westland Flower Parade) is an annual event with beautiful flowers and plants and delicious vegetables in the lead role.
It promises to be a true spectacle on the waters of South Holland from 23 June to 25 June. Then the Varend Corso will travel through the South Holland waters again. With On Stage as the theme for 2023, the spectators are guaranteed an overwhelming show full of music and dance.
Every summer, dozens of richly decorated barges sail from Westland to Maassluis, Delft, Vlaardingen and Midden-Delfland, among others. The vessels are made up with the honest and beautiful products that are grown in the proud Westland. Whether it's colorful orchids, farm-fresh peppers or colorful chrysanthemums, the professional arrangers really know how to make the barges shine.
The Varend Corso is therefore an ideal day out for the whole family. Like hundreds of thousands of other spectators, find a spot on the waterfront to see a unique event that is on the Unesco Intangible Heritage list for a reason. View the exact routes and the timetable on varendcorso.nl.

To the Corso?
Of course on the bike
This year the Varend Corso Westland will be in The Hague for the first time. Every effort has been made to ensure that the route over the water runs smoothly. However, it is difficult to estimate whether it also runs as smoothly on the road. Road works are underway in many places in The Hague. Therefore, if you want to see the parade in The Hague for the first time, we recommend that you come by bike or by public transport. Then the chance that you will be faced with unexpected surprises is the smallest.
