New TaalTaal language courses are starting in April

This year may have had a turbulent start, so why not turn that energy into something positive? If you’re ready for a new challenge and want to focus on yourself, a language course at the TaalTaal Language Institute might be exactly what you need. The new course season starts on April 20 at TaalTaal in The Hague and it’s set to be a dynamic one. With 20 languages available, both on-site and online, TaalTaal offers expats, international professionals and everyone else plenty of ways to improve their language skills: www.taaltaal.nl/en.

What makes TaalTaal stand out is its strong focus on Dutch immersion; learning by actively using the language. This season, there are at least two powerful formats to choose from, depending on your time and goals.

Dutch Immersion: full language immersion in 2 weeks

For those ready to fully commit, the Immersion programme (‘Onderdompeling’) offers a 2-week intensive experience. You are surrounded by Dutch all day, every day, allowing for rapid progress and deep learning. It’s ideal if you want to integrate quickly or significantly boost your level: www.taaltaal.nl/immersion/dutch.

New in 2026: Turbo Dutch (1 week)

Short on time? The new Turbo Dutch courses are a one-week, high-impact alternative. It’s easier to fit into a busy schedule, for example, taking just a week off work while still delivering fast, tangible results: www.taaltaal.nl/turbo/dutch.

Available both in The Hague and online, Turbo Dutch is designed for beginners up to A2 level. In just 30 hours over 5 days, you’ll work in small groups of 3 to 8 students.

What makes it effective:

  • Clear, concise grammar explanations
  • Lots of speaking practice
  • Immediately useful language for work and daily life
  • A structured approach with visible progress

From day one, you’ll join a motivated group led by engaging, experienced teachers. Lessons are practical, interactive and enjoyable, often including creative exercises and even small real-life tasks or outings where possible.

The programme is already proving popular, with participants highlighting the fast progress, relaxed atmosphere and real-world relevance.
